The workshop

A studio for the
things people keep.

Crafily started in 2023 on a kitchen-table laser, with a list of friends getting married and an idea that has not aged a day — a piece made by hand for someone you love is worth more than anything that comes in a box.

A few years in, the studio runs on two kinds of hands. The grown ones run the laser, the bead loom, the embroidery hoop, the 3D printer. The smaller ones draw beside them, paint on the scraps, learn to sand a piece smooth before it leaves the bench.

We make for our home with the same care we make for yours. If we cannot do a piece well, we will not take the order.

What we make

Six benches. One room.

Each offering is a corner of the same studio. Engraving, embroidery, jewelry, laser-cut wood, 3D printing, and original art — all made in-house.

Laser-engraved wood plaque with botanical wreath and the words "Start your day with joy and sleep in love"

Engraving

Wood · leather · slate · brass

Names, dates, scripture, the marks that mean something. Wedding bands of slate, anniversary boards, plaques for the wall.

Handmade bead-and-wire earring photographed on the ear

Hand-crafted jewelry

One-off pieces, made to order

Bracelets, pendants, earrings, charm figures from the loom. Bring the idea or the heirloom — we sketch, you approve, we make.

Engraved wood clocks (Christ Alone, Mom) with pink-and-teal watches on a marble cake stand

Laser-engraved wood

Walnut · oak · maple · cherry

Wall clocks, serving boards, ring boxes, signs. Real wood, hand-finished, food-safe oil where it matters.

Red waffle-weave placemat with embroidered "Jesus-Christ Heals" in pale thread

Embroidery

Cotton · waffle · knit

Placemats, baby hats, runners, kitchen towels — embroidered with the names, dates, or verses you want to keep.

Two engraved wooden plaques "Start your day with joy" bound with twine, framed by flowers

3D printing

Prototype to small-batch

From a sketch, a photograph, or a CAD file. Plastics, resin, brass-fill — finished, sanded, painted as the piece needs.

Acrylic painting of a tree with finger-painted leaves and the words "We are blossoming in GOD ways"

Art & commissions

Mixed media · canvas · paper

For the piece that does not fit one bench. Mixed-media originals, signage as art, commissions that come with a story.

The wall.

Every piece here was made on the same bench. Some are commissions. Some are kid-art from Saturday afternoons. They live next to each other — the way the studio runs.

A note from the bench

The youngest student
is whoever signs up next.

Abbie was five the first time she ran an engraver. Matthias was four when he learned to oil a finished board. Malachi mostly paints, and sometimes signs the boards before they leave.

Walk-in afternoons are Wednesdays and Saturdays, 1 to 4. Bring a kid, bring a friend, or come on your own. For other days, send a note and we'll set a time.
