01 Where is Crafily located?

Crafily is a family atelier in Hagerstown, Maryland (ZIP 21740). We serve Washington County, Frederick County MD, Franklin County PA, and the West Virginia Eastern Panhandle within a 25-mile radius. Engraved and 3D-printed goods ship anywhere in the continental US.

02 What are your walk-in hours?

Walk-in hours are Wednesdays and Saturdays, 1pm to 4pm. We are closed Sundays. Other days are by appointment — send a note via the contact form and we will set a time.

03 How long does a commission take?

Standard turnarounds: engraving 5–10 business days, embroidery 7–12 business days, jewelry 2–4 weeks, 3D-printed parts 3–7 business days (prototypes faster), art commissions 2–6 weeks depending on scope. We send a written estimate the same day you message us.

04 Do you ship outside Maryland?

Yes. Engraved goods, jewelry, and 3D-printed parts ship anywhere in the continental US, packed by the same hands that made them. Local delivery is free within Washington County.

05 How much does a custom piece cost?

We quote every commission individually based on materials, labor, and timeline. Price ranges roughly $30 for small engraved pieces, $40–$120 for embroidery, $85–$400 for jewelry, $50–$300 for laser-engraved wood, $25 and up for 3D prints. No mystery surcharges, no rush-fee fine print.

06 Do you offer workshops for kids?

Yes. Saturday Family Afternoon is drop-in for kids ages 4 and up at $25 per child, $35 per adult. We also run Loom & Beads (7+), Engraved Gift Night (teens+), and seasonal kid-friendly sessions. Private bookings for 4–14 people available for birthday parties and groups.

07 What materials do you work with?

Wood (walnut, oak, maple, cherry, reclaimed barn wood), leather, slate, brass, anodized aluminum, sterling silver, copper, glass beads, cotton, knit, terry, linen, PLA, PETG, resin, and brass-fill 3D printing filaments.

08 Do you take rush orders?

Yes when our calendar allows. Rush requests are quoted with the timeline written out — there are no hidden surcharges. We will tell you up front if a deadline is not possible.

09 Do you make wedding and bridal commissions?

Frequently. Engraved wedding bands, ceremony signs, custom cake toppers, hand-embroidered handkerchiefs, anniversary boards, and bridal party gifts are some of our most-requested commissions. Book 6+ weeks ahead for full-service event work.

10 How do I start a commission?

Use the form at /contact, tell us who it is for, what you have in mind, and when you need it ready. We respond within one business day with a written estimate. For complex projects we may sketch a direction for approval before any work begins.
